Nominees for the Virginia K. Shehee Most Influential Young Woman award must meet the following criteria:
Must be a high school junior or senior in Northwest Louisiana
Demonstrate influence in their school and/or community
Exhibit significant education and/or community accomplishments
Must have shown a commitment to philanthropy by helping children, the elderly, those in need, the arts, business development, education, and/or other acts of caring

The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office Clay Target League 2024 Fall Championship was held this past Saturday. Benton High won second place overall, with Matthew Clarke, Joshua Poteet and Andrew Phillips as the top three shooters for Benton High School.
Top Female shooters for the tournament were all BHS students:
Third Place - Georgia McDonnold
Second Place - Callie Turner
First Place - Brylee Aquillard

There will be a Diamond Doll Interest Meeting on Friday, November 15th during Tiger Time in the commons area.
Students that wish to attend need to sign up in the Tiger Time app. This is open to all grades.


🇺🇸BHS Veterans Day Assembly Date Change🇺🇸
Due to electrical and internet issues in the gym, the Veterans Day assembly scheduled for Monday, November 11, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 12, at 8:45 AM.

‼️SENIOR PANORAMIC PICTURE‼️
Seniors will take their class panoramic picture this Tuesday November 12th at 9:30am. Please note that all students must be in proper dress code in order to be in the picture. A representative from Goldbeck will return the following day (Wednesday) during lunch to sell the photos. See the pricing information on the attached flyer.


🏐 Volleyball Playoff Game 🏐
BHS will be hosting our first ever home playoff game this Thursday at 5:00pm vs Denham Springs. Student admission is $4.00 and regular admission is $8.00.
