The BMS Cheerleaders attended NCA Camp this week and made Benton proud! They are bringing home numerous awards for their leadership, kindness, and outstanding skills.

We couldn’t be more proud of BMS 8th grader Camryn Grimsley! Camryn competed in public speaking at the Educators Rising National Conference in Washington D.C. She won FIRST PLACE in the middle school division!! In her speech, she spoke of solutions to create a more positive perception of public education in her community. WAY TO GO, CAMRYN! 💜🐯💛

Congratulations to the 21 Benton Middle School Band members who made it into the Louisiana Bandmaster's Association All-Star Band. At the beginning of June, they got to play with the best middle school musicians in the state at ULL in Lafayette. We are Very Proud! #BandTigersareAllStars

🦸♀️Fuel your summer superhero with free, nutritious meals that Bossier Schools will be offering weekly starting June 11 at four drive-through sites. 🦸♂️
Any child 18 years of age and younger is eligible. Each box will contain seven shelf-stable breakfasts and lunches.
Parents or guardians will need to complete a registration form for each child. Simply scan the QR code on the graphic or visit http://bit.ly/4bIbKjf to register.
Once registration is complete, meal boxes can be picked up between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. every Tuesday until July 30 at either Benton Middle, Haughton Middle, W.T. Lewis Elementary or Parkway High School.

Art club will be taking a trip to Dallas comic con and the NVG museum on Oct. 18-19, 2024. Any student interested in going or parent interested in chaperoning on this trip please contact Coach Engle or Coach Skinner. This trip is for BMS 7th/8th grade students & parents only.
Our last "Worked Their Tail Off" for 2023-2024 school year goes to Mrs. O'Neal! Mrs. O'Neal keeps us all smiling, works tirelessly for our students, and is extremely encouraging! We are so grateful she is a BMS Tiger!
