Bossier Parish Schools has implemented a new Parent Note process for student absences. The district will accept up to FIVE parent notes per school year, which may excuse up to FIVE absences.
If your child is absent for a reason that is not otherwise considered excused, please complete the official Parent Note form and return it to the student office within five school days of the absence.
Please note that the official district template is required. Copies are available in our school office and on the Bossier Parish Schools website under Student & Parent Resources.

Tonight is **Meet the Teacher**, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back to Elm Grove Elementary!
🕠 **5:30–6:15 PM**
🏫 Visit classrooms, meet your child's teacher, and drop off school supplies. Please label all supplies with your students name.
🎤 **6:15 PM**
Families who are still on campus are invited to the **gym** for a brief welcome from our new principal, **Mr. Warren**. It's a great opportunity to hear about the exciting year ahead and officially kick off the 2026–2027 school year together!
We can't wait to see our hallways filled with smiling faces again. To infinity... and beyond! 🚀💚
